Checkout Notes & Surveys ("the App") is provided by SainStore ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect merchant and customer data when using the App.
The App may collect and process the following information:
* Shopify store domain
* Store owner contact information
* App configuration settings
* Survey configuration and preferences
* Order ID
* Order notes submitted by customers
* Order metadata related to survey responses
* Customer email address (when available through Shopify APIs)
* Survey responses submitted on the Thank You page
* Customer feedback, ratings, and NPS scores
We use collected information solely to provide and improve the App's functionality, including:
* Displaying and saving checkout notes
* Collecting post-purchase survey responses
* Storing survey results in Shopify order metafields
* Displaying survey analytics within the App dashboard
* Supporting merchants with customer feedback analysis
Survey responses are stored within the merchant's Shopify store using Shopify Order Metafields.
Checkout notes are stored in Shopify's native Order Note field.
Application configuration data may be stored securely in our database infrastructure.
We do not sell, rent, or share merchant or customer information with third parties except when required to operate the App or comply with legal obligations.
Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide App functionality or comply with legal requirements.
Merchants may uninstall the App at any time.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
Our use of information received from Shopify APIs complies with Shopify's API Terms and Partner Program requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
